Halton Festival – fantastic success
Hundreds of visitors in tune with live music and stunning displays
Hundreds of people turned out to enjoy the sights and sounds of Halton Festival on August 10th.
Organisers say that at least 1,000 people attended the events held on the playing field at The Centre.
Hundreds of skaters also turned out to see some stunning bike and skateboard displays, as well as take part in competitions on the popular skate park.
The Festival featured live music from local acts throughout the day, craft, design and sweet stalls, a pottery wheel, the Greenlands Farm roadshow, kids activities, bouncy castle and bucking bronco, a real ale beer from Warton’s Old School Brewery and delicious food.
Festivities continued into the night as well, with a sold out show in the The Centre’s main hall, featuring music from Stopwatch Wilson, Greenheart, Jay Diggins and The Feud.
Plans are already in the pipeline for a similar event next year!
